Suburban Manufacturing, an Airxcel brand, has appointed Mike Phillips to the newly24855 created position of senior VP of operations and engineering. The company is a leading supplier of RV furnaces, water heaters and cooking appliances.

In this key role, Phillips will lead operations and engineering groups to increase growth and improve processes. Fostering a culture of innovation at Suburban, he will mentor its team of product experts. His portfolio includes managing the company's safety initiatives, product development, production processes, continuous improvement, and new sales and operations procedures.

With extensive manufacturing experience, Phillips most recently held the position of director of operations at Welbilt in Parsons, Tennessee. Prior, he was the VP of engineering at SFI and director of operations at Pegasus Steel. He has a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from Freed-Hardeman University.
