Wichita, KS:  AIRXCEL is pleased to announce the promotion of Trent Kauffman to the position of Vice President of RV OEM Sales.  Effective June 1, 2014, Trent will direct the sales of Coleman®-Mach® RV air conditioners, MAXXAIR® RV ventilation solutions and Suburban RV heating, water heating and cooking appliances to our OEM customers.

Trent assumes responsibility for RV OEM Sales from Pierre Briglio who has announced his intention to retire effective December 31, 2014.

“Pierre joined the company as a Regional Sales Manager in 1988, and was named VP of Sales and Marketing for the RV Group of AIRXCEL in 2000.  Under Pierre’s direction, our sales efforts have been successful in growing the Coleman®-Mach®, Suburban, and Maxxair® brands to the position of market leaders.  Pierre’s retirement provides the opportunity to divide his duties into three positions with focused responsibilities; RV OEM Sales, Marketing and After-market Sales, and International Sales” said Greg Guinn, President of AIRXCEL’s RV Products Division. “He will be missed, but we wish Pierre and his family well in his retirement.”

Trent Kauffmann, the new VP of OEM sales, joined Airxcel Inc. in 2001 as an RV OEM sales representative.  He has also managed sales and marketing for Suburban’s Applied Products line, and worked most recently as Regional Sales Manager in the Elkhart market.

“Trent’s OEM sales experience, dedication to serving the customer, and product knowledge make him the perfect candidate to lead the OEM sales organization” said Art Klee, President of AIRXCEL’s Suburban Division.  “We congratulate him on his promotion.”
